The Sewing Rooms specialises in altering bridal, bridesmaids, mother of the bride and formal gowns. Arlene Ferguson the in house designer can also work with you to design and create a bespoke gown of your choice, for bridal, formal or any other special occasion.

We have three broad areas of expertise:

Services including alterations, customising, designing, steaming, storing and alterations.
Provision of accessories including shrugs & capes, veils, memory items and various extras
Training via our own unique learning platform based on a variety of levels of expertise

We pride ourselves in the quality of personal service we provide. Our approach is simple, friendly and entirely focussed on what we are good at!

My trousers are always too big at the waist so I was well chuffed with myself that I could take them in at the waist and they were actually wearable. A great buzz!
